Director and Head of HR & CSR
Samsung Electronics Mexico
Mexico City, Mexico · 2015–2017
I’m an INSEAD MBA graduate, a former strategy and HR leader at Samsung, and the founder of ARLee Consulting. I work directly with applicants to turn their experience and ambitions into compelling business school applications.
Before my MBA, I worked in technical roles. My time at INSEAD helped me move into global strategy at Samsung and later into HR leadership. It gave me a way to build on my technical background while taking my career in a new direction.
I began coaching MBA applicants after graduating from INSEAD in 2011, alongside my career at Samsung. My own transition, combined with my experience in strategy and HR, shaped the way I help applicants connect their experience with their ambitions and make a convincing case for their next step.
In 2017, I left Samsung and founded ARLee Consulting to focus on personalized admissions coaching. Today, you work directly with me, from the questions you bring to the feedback on your application.
Read my clients’ stories ↗My background combines technology, business school, strategy and HR. I bring that perspective to the way we explore your goals, explain your career choices and present the experience behind your application.
You stay in the driver’s seat of your story. I help you question, clarify and strengthen it, with honest feedback and guidance shaped around your starting point.
We work through drafts and revisions rather than a fixed weekly call. Email is our main channel, with WhatsApp and calls when a conversation is useful.

I rescued Cori from the streets of Mexico City when she was just one month old. Her name comes from 거리 (pronounced roughly “guh-ree”), the Korean word for “street”—a reminder of where our story began. She’s now my lovely princess and the love of my life.
My background is Spanish and Korean. I’m fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan, and conversant in Korean and French. Random fact: In 2023, I interpreted between Korean, English and Spanish for the K-pop girl group Red Velvet at Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
I love trekking: the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu in 2010 (65 km in five days), and the Camino de Santiago in 2012 (800 km in 25 days) and 2020 (300 km in 11 days).
Badminton in Korea, squash in Mexico, and tennis at Club Tennis Masnou. Racket sports have followed me across countries, and tennis has become a serious passion.
Working out is a big part of my life. I train hard, run 5K and 10K distances, and I’m now preparing for my first half-marathon.
I play electric guitar and drums, and I’m a big fan of progressive metal, John Petrucci and Jason Becker. I’m also fascinated by mixology and trained as a bartender and mixologist at New York Bartending School.
I’m a web programmer working with PHP/MySQL, HTML and JavaScript. Yes, I built this website too, along with MBAessayDB ↗ and My Video Interview Prep ↗. I enjoy turning ideas into practical tools that help applicants prepare.
